Silent is the night
like a abandoned room.
Sparkling stars appear,
while the moon glows above.
Quietly trees sway
from the wind that cannot speak.
eyes, disguised, but blinding
stare beyond dancing leaves.
A bird starts calling
like the foghorn of a ship.
It's shrieks are constant
and are echoed in the distance.
Such a feline, meow,
with a rare coon-dog nose,
searching for it's prey
found among the tree tops.
Like a solider at war,
they've been trained to attack,
any intruder, lurking,
destroying the silent night.
