Outside on a sunny day
Shoppers scurry place to place.
Windows remain open to grasp cool air
Glimmering sky scrapers shine int he light
While newly-cut grass lies along the sidewalk.
As the leaves change color
Stronger winds are amongst us.
Busy streets give drivers little patience.
Joyus children play games all day long
Excited to begin school once again.
During the winter season
Snow falls lightly on the ground,
Roads appear slippery from frozen ice.
Piles of snow and angels all around
With snowmen rolled up along the streets.
Once spring time has arrived
Rare flowers begin to bloom
As snow melts away from delicate roots.
With Easter coming, while summer follows
Students impatiently wish school would end.
